Prenatal Chiropractic: The Basics
The practice of prenatal chiropractic was designed to help restore normal function to the human body. By making gentle spinal adjustments, we can influence the nervous system, which affects every other system that keeps us going, including:

-
Digestive
-
Circulatory
-
Hormonal
-
Eliminatory
-
Glandular
-
Immunological
-
Muscular
-
Skeletal
-
Respiratory
-
Reproductive

Think of your nervous system as the body’s command and communication center. When it’s not operating optimally, your body’s systems don’t function the way they should either. Chiropractic spinal adjustments reduce interference to the nervous system, often caused by stress, whether physical or emotional.
Studies show that chiropractic care during pregnancy can reduce the time you spend in labor by 31%!

You don’t need to be in pain to receive chiropractic care. In fact, you’ll feel and function better if you don’t wait until you have a problem to see a chiropractor. Regular chiropractic visits can help your general well-being and let you live your fullest life at your greatest potential.
Family Chiropractic Care
At Rise Well Chiropractic, we believe that each and every individual of the family will have a better expression of health and life when they are under chiropractic care. Therefore, we offer affordable family plans. We love taking care of families!
Pediatric Chiropractic Care

The purpose of infant chiropractic is to relieve spinal misalignment that may interfere with the nervous system.
The nervous system plays an important role in growth and development, and a healthy nervous system is essential to your child’s well-being and happiness.
The first subluxations, or misalignments of the spine can occur during pregnancy and or birth. This is especially common if there are interventions during labor and or a breech positioning.

Many adults experience back, joint and spinal problems that can be attributed to stress that the body has experienced during childhood. Infant chiropractic care attempts to mitigate future issues by taking care of spinal misalignment before your child has “grown in” to the problem and while their bodies are more primed to receive effective chiropractic adjustments.

Postpartum Care
Should your chiropractic care stop after giving birth? Absolutely not! Chiropractic care in the postpartum phase helps mom transition into motherhood while also supporting healing, nursing and all of the changes that happen postpartum.
How soon can you get adjusted after giving birth? Because adjustments are tailored to each persons needs, mamas can be adjusted shortly after labor. However, Dr. Deborah highly recommends at least 2 weeks of skin to skin, bonding, and resting after giving birth, so as soon as you feel comfortable leaving the house is a great time to get your first postpartum adjustment.
